I was there last week..not as nice as it looks here, but A LOT OF FUN!!!! There are no chairs at the bar…all for looks, the splash pools, we had one, were too cold to get in..sucked, the shots are all staged, not as decorative as here, but still amazing..they actually closed the pools and beaches to do another new photo shoot…everyone was somewhat compensated, but I would have rather been drunk by the pool the last 2 days of my honeymoon. All inclusive doesnt mean all inclusive….
my ROOM did not have wash cloths or towels 6 out of 10 days there. if not at the main pool by 10 am, you werent getting a towel there either. They were under costruction and short guests……..
cost you a lot right to hear someone say “sorry sir we all out of towels.some thing every hotel should have… as i said dont deal with the line staff they cant do any thing bout the problem.. talk to the manager.. i know this is bs but i have been in most of the hotels on the island.. and to say you get what you pay for this is the worst one..
well you should check the front desk am sure you will get ripped off .. you could get a better deal from ( joe know ) and other local tours.. and dont ask the staff cause some one just got fired for showing the some tourist a good time.. the guest who put that on the internet thought he or she was helping the staff but see what happened
sorry sir we don’t have any white wine at all. very sorry sir we all out of bananas, how much did you pay to get there again? you are kind people. cause you just gave your money away. if you had only complained once you would hve gotten what you did n t get.. and dont complain to the line staff complain to the manager cause they are cutting the cost so they can get their bonuses. notice mostly all of the manager are from countries other than saint lucia
the beaches around the world are violent ken you just have to be cautious .. people probably came up to you trying to sell you drugs right! what you need to do is just tell them no and walk away.. and tell security..
We caught a swell to bodysuf in. Well, we hit the shore, and didnt move. Just about knocked the wind out of us. We were going in good on the swell, not much break, then BAM, we hit the sand. They had a dock there, but I think it got knocked down. Antigua Sandals was a lot better. GO THERE>
Violent as in ruff. You cant really wade in the water. EXample: we went on the Exurcision to see the Volcano, Rain Forest and Snorkeling. On the way back, the Catamaran goes through the inlet where the Sandals Resort is. This drunk guy jumped off and started to swim in. He forgot to tell his wife he jumped in. I told my wife i was going and a guy from a couple we were haning out with, jumped in too. It was only a 50yard swim. So, as we swam to the shore
my husband and i went on our honeymoon! the 1st room was a huge disappoinment and after my husband went off, they upgraded us to a bluff suite which was very nice. the staff was very nice! they were perfection! the food was TERRIBLE! the beach was very violent! my husband lost his wedding band! we wont be returning to this resort, but only because of the food! if they improved that, then this would be a great place to go! and the butler service is a must! THEY WILL SPOIL YOU! ! ! ! ! !
st lucia is a wonderful island but sandal is a rich hotel for rich fuk who want to do everything but not discovering the island and sandals is ideal for that
they also run their staff like slaves recently they sack everyone then reinstate but with a lower salary can u imagine doing that in europe …i m surprise they just forgot towel i would go mad st lucian staff is really patient and angel i would burn dis place to the ground with the fukin tourist
you want things perfect. especially for what you pay. we were there for 10 days, went to the volcano, garden, horseback riding etc. just mad with the construction, and room. brings you down.
I’m sad you had a bad time there. We had such a great time. Sure there were minor troubles…but you’re in St.Lucia, where the booze is free, the sea is within walking distance and the sun is shining! We loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
I went here for 10 days. They did not tell us that they were under construction(next to the pool deck!!!!!!) It was hard to get a beach towel, unless you were at the pool deck by 9 a.m. Out of the 10 days, we had to call down 7 days for either towels, washcloths, or something they forgot to stock. There were other problems but i cant remember them now. I complained, sent in an email. I have yet to hear anything back./…. DONT GO HERE….. DO NOT GO HERE.
I stayed in st. Lucia, on this resort for 2 weeks from Feb. 3-17th. My husband and I were married on the beach on February 7th. It is beautiful there. I miss it so much. We will be back. So many good memories.
I stayed at this particular resort for about 10 days for my honeymoon. The resort was great, the staff is amazingly polite. Remember, your vacation is what you make of it. You don’t necessarily need the best/most expensive room to have a great time.

When (and to whom) should you make your reservations for things like the volcano, massages, etc?

The beach was very violent? By that, do you mean a lot of people rough-housing, fighting, rough waters…?
